I’ve just come to the end of my 14 day cleanse with Nutribuddy and I’ve been really impressed with how well it’s gone. For those of you who read my Health Kick: The Honest Truth or even my Nutrubuddy: First Impressions posts you will know that I wasn’t looking for that ‘quick fix’ weight loss programme, and although Nutribuddy promised some great results I decided to do the 14 day programme my way. I would actively try to eat and drink a lot healthier than I had done previously, I would follow their recipe guides and use all of the products I received (mixing in the whey with my smoothies, take the multivitamins etc) but I wouldn’t deprive myself of the odd naughty and decadent treat.

So along with my 14 day kit from Nutribuddy I had to stock up my fridge and cupboards of all the yummy and healthy goodness that I could eat. The chocolate bars and cakes were thrown out (only joking, Jack ate these) and in their place was lots of fresh fruit, herbal teas, and so many weird and wonderful different seeds (some of which I’d never heard of before).

Above is only a glimpse of my purchases… I think I went a bit overboard with the shopping as there was nowhere to keep it all! Anyway, I feel the 14 days went really well. I didn’t deprive myself of anything and I never felt hungry. The variety of meals I could cook was amazing and I could’ve lived off the smoothies as they were all delicious!

Ok, so I didn’t 100% stick to this as it states you can’t drink alcohol and I did go out one evening… Oops. However, I stuck to vodka and soda and really didn’t have that many at all. Anyway, I’ve always said this was a lifestyle change and not a quick fix. It’s not like I’m never going to drink alcohol again is it? I suppose you could say it’s a good thing I had a hiccup. It just shows that you can still have your naughty cheat nights and still see results!

Sooo… The reason why you’re all here. My before and after photos… OK, so I have a confession to make. I was going to post my before and afters, trust me they were good, but I was SO embarrassed by my before photos. I couldn’t bring myself to post them and decided to take them out at the last minute. Honestly, they make me cringe. If anyone would like to see them they please drop me a message, I’ll be more than happy to send them to you privately.

I did however, take my body measurements both before and after, so I’m going to share these with you! I’m honestly so happy with what I’ve lost in two weeks. I know there’s still a long way to go but hey, in two weeks this is a great start. Just look at how far I’ve come:


Bust: 35inches

Waist: 31.5inches

Hips: 42.5inches


Bust: 34inches

Waist: 30inches

Hips: 39.5inches

I’ve lost a huge 5.5inches across my bust, waist and hips and I really couldn’t be happier! I think a lot of my belly was bloat, but that doesn’t take away from fact that Nutribuddy did exactly what it said it would do. Two weeks using their multivitamins, sculpting whey and hunger busters and the difference is huge. I really feel that their recipe book and meal plans helped me hugely! I never felt hungry and had days where I knew I could snack if I wanted, but I was just too full to think about eating!


Yes, I’m still a long way to reach my target weight, and even once I get there it’s only half the battle. Keeping the weight off will be just as tough as losing it in the first place! I’ll be sure to keep you all updated with my progress throughout the year.
