The May Edition: Roccabox

The May Edition: Roccabox

Last month I was lucky enough to receive my very first Roccabox, a monthly beauty subscription box. You may even have read my review of it, and if you did I hope you went and purchased one for yourself as it really was incredible!

A new month sees a new Roccabox delivery, and to be honest with you I was just as excited to receive this as I was my first one. As with last months box, the May edition has been put together with some help from one of the industries best loved personalities, and this month it was Laura Maher, from Sassy In the City, turn.

Glo & Ray Longwear Precision Eyeliner

Glo & Ray is a brand I’d never heard of before and to be honest, I’m not usually one to wear liquid eyeliner… Despite this I was eager to give this product a go. I mean, if it’s good enough to make it into Roccabox then it’s got to be something pretty awesome right? Boy am I glad I tried it. The product glides on effortlessly and the fine, flexible nib allows for the most perfect winged flick. I’m amazed by this products staying power too! It last all day and I had to give it a proper scrub when removing in the evening. If you’re into your eyeliners you need to give this a go!

Mandara Spa Amber Heaven Softening Body Cream

This rich, luxurious body lotion not only smells utterly divine but also leaves my skin feeling silky soft and smooth. Body moisturisers are something I seem to accumulate a lot of, and it’s something I’ve desperately been trying to enforce into my beauty regime as I’m awful at remembering to moisturise. However, with this product, I never forget! I can’t get enough of it, and out of the hundreds of lotions I own it’s the one I reach for every night.

iZ Beauty Blooming Beautiful Collection

This gorgeous little nail polish is the most perfect spring / summer shade. If unicorns wore nail polish it would sure be this one… Forget Me Not is a gorgeous pastel tone that is sure to see you through the entire season! I know what colour I’m painting my nails next…

MONU Hydrating Mask

MONU is another brand I’d never heard of before receiving this box (crikey – I’m slacking a bit aren’t I?) That’s what I love so much about these subscription boxes. You discover new brands that you fall in love with, and sometimes products you try end up being a favourite product that you couldn’t possibly live without. I absolutely love a face mask and this product didn’t disappoint. It really gives my skin an extra boost of moisturiser and leaves it feeling hydrated and refreshed.

Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor

Personally, I’m a waxer. I can’t bare the uncomfortable itchiness when your hair starts to grow through after shaving. Saying that, I was really impressed with how this razor looked. Even more so at it’s price point of £8.99… Is it just me or is that really good value for a razor? I swear I’ve seen some in Boots for £15 or so? Anyway, I digress… This is definitely a product I’m going to keep stashed in my cupboard for those emergency moments where you’re due a wax but haven’t got the time and need to get your legs out (That LBD really won’t look as good with chewbacca legs!)

I still completely stand by Roccabox being one of the best subscription boxes out there. For only £10 a month you get spoilt with a wonderful array of products and unlike other subscription boxes where you seem to only receive sample sizes Roccabox spoil you even more by offering the majority of the products at full size!
